Uploading documents for bank transfers
Updated
When documents are required
Not every customer will need to provide documents, but our payment partners may request them to make sure your funds are delivered securely. If your transfers are paused, it means we need additional details to verify your account.
Even if you’ve already received some funds, you may still be asked to upload extra documentation before the remaining balance can be sent.
Please note that digital payment platforms such as PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App often don’t meet verification requirements for fund transfers. If you prefer an online banking option, full-service online banks (such as Ally Bank in the U.S.) are generally a better choice.
How to upload documents
You can begin the upload process in one of two ways:
-
Click the link in the email titled “Action required – withdrawal setup failed”, or
-
Go to the “Transfers” section of your Aidinmotion dashboard
Then follow these steps:
-
In the “Transfers” tab, select “Edit” next to your bank account under “Payout.”
-
Click “Continue to Adyen” or “Continue to Stripe,” depending on your payment partner.
-
Open the section highlighted in red.
-
For Adyen, the upload button appears in the bottom-right corner next to “Edit.”
-
For Stripe, select “Update,” then upload a file or take a photo of your document.
-

Organization bank accounts
If you’re transferring funds to an organization’s bank account, please follow the dedicated instructions for organizational transfers.
Trouble with document verification
If your documents aren’t approved, you’ll see a notification banner on the “Transfers” page explaining the issue. We provide suggested fixes for common problems, but if issues persist, please contact our team and resubmit your documents.
For best results, ensure all uploaded images are high quality and easy to read.
Common issues and solutions:
-
Name mismatch between ID, bank statement, and transfer setup
Update the details in your bank transfer settings. -
Expired ID or passport
Consider adding a trusted friend or family member as a beneficiary. -
Credit union member number shown instead of account number
Request a statement with the last four digits of your account number or use a voided check. -
Bank statement older than 30 days
Request a recent statement or submit a voided check. -
Missing name, account digits, or bank logo
Ask your bank for a corrected statement or submit a voided check.
Re-uploading documents
If you need to submit a replacement document:
-
Click the link in the email titled “Action required – withdrawal setup failed,” or select the red alert banner in the “Transfers” section of your Aidinmotion dashboard.
-
Choose “Continue to Adyen” or “Continue to Stripe.”
-
Open the identity or bank section marked in red and upload the new document using the button in the bottom-right corner.
