How to make a donation

You don’t need an Aidinmotion account to donate. However, signing in allows you to track and manage your contributions more easily.

To donate:

  1. Locate the fundraiser you want to support and click “Donate now”

  2. Choose a one-time or monthly donation

  3. Enter your donation amount and adjust the optional tip if desired

  4. Add your payment details under “Payment method”

  5. To donate anonymously, check “Don’t display my name publicly on the fundraiser”

  6. Review your donation and tip, then select “Donate now”

  7. You’ll receive a confirmation receipt once your donation is complete

After donating, you can:

  • Share the fundraiser to help spread the word and increase support

  • Leave a message of encouragement, which will appear publicly unless you donated anonymously

Payment options

Available payment methods depend on your location and the fundraiser’s location.

Debit and credit cards

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express (not available for charity fundraisers)

  • Discover

Digital payment options

Digital wallets vary by country. Please review the relevant support article to see which options are available in your region.

Tipping options

For one-time donations, supporters can leave an optional contribution to help keep Aidinmotion free for people who start fundraisers. The tip amount is fully adjustable and can be set to zero if you prefer not to leave one.

You can learn more about modifying the tip amount in our Help Centre.

Donating in a different currency

You can contribute to a fundraiser that uses a different currency than your own. Be sure to note the fundraiser’s currency, which is shown where you enter your donation amount.

Enter the donation amount in the fundraiser’s currency. You’ll be charged the equivalent amount in your local currency.

Currency conversion fees

Aidinmotion does not charge currency conversion fees, but your bank or card provider may apply one. Please contact them directly for details.

Currently, Aidinmotion is unable to process donations from certain countries due to regulatory restrictions. We continue working to expand access globally.

Trouble making a donation

Enter your details carefully

Use your own payment method and email address. Payment details must match the name exactly as shown on your card or digital account. While you can choose to appear anonymous publicly, real details are required for payment processing.

If your donation doesn’t go through, try the following:

  • Double-check spelling and payment information

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, use a private window, or try another device

  • Try a different payment method or contact your bank to ensure the transaction isn’t blocked

  • Avoid making multiple attempts in a short time, as this may trigger a temporary block

If issues persist after trying these steps, wait 24 hours before attempting again. You can also select “Contact Us” to reach our support team for help.
