It is with profound grief that we share the sudden passing of our dear cousin, Luka patel, aged 35, who left us peacefully in his sleep on December 28, 2025, likely due to a sudden cardiac arrest.

Luka, a kind-hearted and hardworking young man, had recently moved to Brampton, Ontario, from India in search of better opportunities. Single and full of dreams, he was the pillar of support for his modest family back home, always sending money and calling to check on his parents and siblings. He belonged to a humble, middle-class family and had just started building his life in Canada, working tirelessly in the trucking industry while making friends in the local Indian community.

His unexpected departure has shattered our family both emotionally and financially. As new immigrants without established savings or insurance, we are now faced with the high costs of funeral arrangements and repatriation in the Greater Toronto Area, where expenses can easily reach thousands of dollars.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts, humbly asking for any support you can offer during this heartbreaking time. Even the smallest contribution will help us provide Luka with the respectful farewell he deserves and ease this overwhelming burden on his grieving parents and loved ones.
