Hello, my name is Lucas Ramirez. Unfortunately, on January 30, 2026, my father was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

As he does every day, my father left home early to go to work. During his work hours, ICE officers stopped him near a Houston gas station. After turning on their lights, my father pulled over, but without any questions or explanations, the officers broke the windows of his car. My father has no criminal record and has never committed any crime.

This situation has been immensely painful for our family. We feel shattered without him. My younger siblings miss our beloved father terribly. For me, arriving at the scene where it all happened was devastating; I was in complete shock and even lost consciousness when I saw my father’s car destroyed.

As a family, we are heartbroken and striving to raise funds to support my father, as my mother is now facing this overwhelming challenge alone. Any help would be deeply appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. No one is immune to such a situation, and many don’t realize the struggle of having a family member taken away from us.
