Hi, my name is Ryan Collins, and I am nearing the finish line of my PhD in Psychology, Public Policy, and Law.
I’ve completed all my required coursework and am currently in the final week of what was meant to be my last semester. The only thing standing between me and my doctorate is finishing my dissertation. However, due to unforeseen life circumstances, I need to extend my enrollment by an additional semester to complete this crucial step.
Sadly, this extra semester is not fully covered by student loans, and I must pay for the tuition upfront to stay enrolled and continue working on my dissertation. After coming this far, the thought of not being able to finish my degree because of financial barriers is heartbreaking.
The past few years have been quite a journey, and I am incredibly thankful for the love, encouragement, and support my family and friends have shown me throughout this process. Earning this doctorate is about so much more than just a degree; it represents years of dedication, sacrifice, and a lifelong dream.
Asking for help is not something I take lightly, but I am reaching out to see if anyone can assist me in crossing this final hurdle. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean so much to me. Even sharing this page would be a tremendous support.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me achieve my goal!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ryan
