Jake and Sarah have been mushing since they were little, growing up with a deep love for their dogs and the excitement of the trails. Montana is home to some of the finest dog teams in the country, and both teens are proud to be part of this magnificent tradition. In 2026, they will compete in the Big Sky 100, Junior Great Northern 100, Junior Iditarod, Big Mountain 200, and the Yellowstone 300, all with the goal of finishing each race alongside their happy, healthy dogs. This season holds special significance for Jake, as he steps into his first Junior Iditarod, inspired by Sarah’s journey and growth as a musher.

Their dedication to their team and the sport is truly uplifting, and they work tirelessly to ensure their dogs are well cared for and prepared for the challenges ahead.
