My name is bella Torres, and I’m creating this campaign on behalf of Maria and Carlos Gallo, who have been like second parents to me. Their daughter, Ava Gallo, was my college roommate and best friend at Fairview University.

On January 29, 2026, the Gallo family experienced a catastrophic fire in their home when a generator ignited, making their residence unsafe to live in. While I am immensely grateful that they are both safe and unharmed, the emotional toll of this loss is understandably overwhelming.

Rebuilding and restoring their home will likely take many months. Even with insurance, there are numerous immediate and ongoing expenses that won’t be fully covered. The family is currently seeking temporary housing and working to replace essential items, but they face uncertainty regarding the expenses that may arise throughout the rebuilding process.

Maria and Carlos have impacted the lives of countless individuals through their kindness and generosity. It is my hope that their community will rally around them with the same love they have always shown, providing support during this challenging time.
