I have a deep passion for ultimate frisbee, and I am thrilled to announce that I’ve earned a spot on Team USA, representing our country at the World Junior Ultimate Championships in Madrid, Spain, this July.

I picked up a frisbee during my freshman year of high school, initially skeptical, but it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the game. Ultimate has a unique ability to break down barriers—age, gender, background, and ego—replacing them with trust, respect, and teamwork. A simple invitation led to four years of personal growth, competition, and a sense of belonging.

That sense of community comes from Brooklyn Ultimate. The people there welcomed me, supported me, and made me feel at home. I am incredibly grateful to be part of this community and even prouder to represent everyone who has helped me along the way.

However, as amazing as this opportunity is, the costs are significant. Travel, training weekends, and the tournament expenses are all covered by my family, totaling over $5,500.

Any contribution—no matter how big or small—would mean so much to me. Competing at this level of youth ultimate is both an honor and a thrill, and I owe it all to those who have supported me throughout this journey.
