We’re both excited (and a little anxious!) to share that I, Samuel Harper, along with my nephew Alex Carter, will be running the New York Half Marathon on March 15th in memory of someone incredibly special to us—my wife and Alex’s uncle, Tom Harper, who we lost to glioblastoma last June. This journey holds profound significance for us, and we are determined to raise awareness and funds for the Glioblastoma Foundation.

Participating in this half marathon is not just about completing a race; it’s about celebrating Tom’s legacy and advocating for better treatment options for those battling glioblastoma. Tom lived a life filled with adventure, kindness, and purpose, and even when faced with his diagnosis, he remained optimistic and committed to embracing every moment.

With each step we take, we aim to support vital research, advanced genomic testing, and essential assistance for families affected by this disease. All funds raised will go directly to the Glioblastoma Foundation, helping those who are struggling and driving advancements in care and treatment options.
