How to set up bank transfers

Setting up transfers on a desktop

To enable bank transfers using a desktop computer, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Aidinmotion account.

  2. From the top-right menu, select “Your fundraisers” and choose the fundraiser you want to set up transfers for.

  3. In your dashboard, click the “Transfers” tab on the left-hand menu.

  4. Choose where the funds should be sent: your personal bank account, a business bank account, or another person’s account.

  5. If your email address hasn’t been confirmed, resend the confirmation and verify it.

  6. If transferring funds to yourself, select “Get started.” You’ll be redirected to our payment partner’s secure portal to enter your personal and banking details.


Setting up transfers in the Aidinmotion Website

To set up transfers using the Aidinmotion mobile website:

  1. Open the Aidinmotion website and log in.

  2. Locate and tap the fundraiser you want to manage.

  3. Tap “Transfers” beneath your fundraising goal.

  4. Select who will receive the funds (your bank account, a business account, or someone else’s account).

  5. Confirm your email address if prompted.

  6. Tap “Get started” to enter your personal and banking details through our secure payment partner.

Important things to keep in mind

  • Make sure you meet all requirements to receive transfers.

  • Set up transfers before the deadline shown in the “Transfers” section of your Aidinmotion account.

  • If your account is linked to our payment partner and a bank account is verified, it will become the default for future fundraisers unless updated.

  • Funds can only be sent via direct deposit—checks are not supported.

  • Online payment platforms (such as PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App) often don’t meet verification requirements. Traditional or online banks are recommended.

  • Aidinmotion or its payment partners may request documents even after transfers begin, so continue monitoring your account.

  • Transfers usually take 2–5 business days to arrive, and you may receive multiple transfers in one day depending on your payment processor.


Key steps in the transfer process

  1. Choose whose bank account will receive the funds

  2. Enter personal and banking information

  3. Information is reviewed and verified

  4. Upload supporting documents if requested

  5. Receive funds via bank transfer


1. Choose the recipient bank account

Select the appropriate option based on where the funds should go:

  • Personal bank account – if funds are going to you

  • Business bank account – if funds are going to an organization

  • Someone else’s bank account – this designates a beneficiary; once the invitation is sent, your setup is complete


2. Enter personal and bank details

Our payment partner uses this information to confirm your identity. Details must exactly match your government-issued ID and are not shown publicly.

  • Use your full legal name

  • Enter your physical address (PO boxes are not accepted)

  • Confirm your date of birth is correct

You can link your bank account by logging in through your bank’s portal or by entering the details manually.

If entering details manually:

  • Upload a bank document or statement to verify the account

  • Include leading zeros in your account number

  • Use the routing number for ACH/EFT/direct deposit (not wire transfer numbers)

  • For European accounts, enter the IBAN in capital letters with no spaces

  • Ensure the bank account owner’s name matches the personal details entered


3. Verification process

Aidinmotion reviews your information to ensure funds are delivered securely. Verification may take a few business days, and you’ll be contacted if additional details are required.


4. Upload documents (if needed)

In some cases, you may be asked to submit documents such as a bank statement, ID, or proof of your connection to the fundraiser. Once approved, transfers will proceed automatically.

To upload documents:

  1. Go to the “Transfers” page and select “Edit” next to your bank account.

  2. Continue to your assigned payment partner’s portal.

  3. Upload documents in the highlighted section.

  4. If verification fails or documents are required, you’ll see a notification banner in your account.


5. Receiving your funds

Here’s what to expect once transfers are active:

  • Funds are sent automatically after verification

  • Donations take up to 5 business days to process before being included

  • Each transfer includes all available donations

  • Transfers are sent daily by default, unless you choose weekly or monthly

  • Once sent, transfers typically arrive within 2–5 business days
